When I click it, it does nothing. These instrutions worked when other popular instructions for registering these files did not. If you are infected that might explain why windows functions are not working or you are unable to install software on your system. You are like my mini-God today! :D :D :D I tried the first 2 commands and my windows search worked like a charm!

It was specifically designed to allow a third party search engine to work on Windows XP. Note that the file extension (.INF) is not shown in Windows Explorer unless the Hide extensions for known file types setting is disabled in Control Panel / Folder Options / View On the left hand pane right-click on Indexing Service on Local Machine, and select Properties.
