They will only function after the complete installation process has been completed and the bluetooth keyboards have been discovered and paired.Other than this I have no other ideas. Both mouse and keyboard don't work. OK, enough questions for now--I will help other posters on this great website while I wait for replies! The keyboard operates ok with OSX.

No, create an account now. Windows sees the keyboard, then when you try to enter a passkey, it immediately says "Times up!" and fails. If you upgrade to XP SP3 you will need to upgrade Bootcamp to 2.1 on OSX first.

I have a new hard drive, formatted to NTFS but otherwise blank. I think it is the older version of Windows. Why are you using XP by the way ? If it is a PS/2 interface, you need to have it plugged in when the computer is booting, so you may just need to reboot.
