Windows Xp Internet Not Working After Update
I have several other computers connected to the network, and they work just fine - with internet access. It's a big pain in the ass, but it seems to work. I restarted my computer again and set my IP adress to automatic. now I can get some sleep cause this was driving me crazy!!!! check over here

I don't know what to do. Thank you!!!! This disabled the internet connection for a few seconds and then restarted the service.

Thanks for the suggestion though! It has worked for me on several occasions, so it's worth a shot. I've tried disconnecting the modem and router and letting them power down and back up.
