What happens is that the system will still try to use the basic Windows XP Search Engine, and not the new installation. It doesn't even start up, from either of the two spots I use it. And just for humor sake I ran Hijackthis and checked my firewall settings and ran a virus scan after checking for new virus definitions. we there yet? There’s still something you might be able to try.
