And I must say I do find the Windows XP to be a bit faster to boot and shut down than Windows 7. I noticed the "Most recent check" date (9/12/16) was behind the "Updates were installed on" date (11/2/16) in the Windows Update Control Panel window. Should I just install version available from Intel? I have no idea why Intel Rapid Storage management has anything to do with windows file systems, but updated it and it worked.
