Ever since the Security patch of 3/11/2015, users cannot normally logon anymore. Remote Desktop still works if you open it manually and enter in the server info. Any hints on this issue? I hope that helps narrow down the issue. remove 3039976 from the client/workstation side please and report back if that fixes the issue?

Also, if you right click on a network computer in File Explorer and click on Connect with Remote Desktop Connection, nothing happens. This issue resolves IF they log into the RDS server DIRECTLY (which I did, logging in as them). Kb2984972 Breaks Rdp If a user is logged in already, a RDP session is possible. I'll let you know how things turn out tomorrow morning. Windows Update Breaks Rdp 2015 Up until the last update they could log into the RDS without issue. I don't get any error message, RDP just blinks "Connecting to ..." and then dissapears without any error message.

Otherwise try a System Restore to before the problem began. After logging in directly I was able to connect through remote desktop.
