in fact when I checked in May I saw a critical update for IE sitting there. now it worked... Aside from that I would also have to try and find compatable drivers, I can just imagine what that would be like. I REALLY have to have XP installed because it's the latest version of Windows the will load the installation program I have for my MIDI interfaces for my recording studio. Windows Update Agent It's currently running & looking for problems. Wait a while (5~ minutes) after implementing this change because Windows will be silently updating the Windows Update components built in to Windows.
It'll take you about 10 minutes and you should have Windows Updates working again.
