It works with other DVDs. Besides the seek issue you'll probably get better playback performance, and it doesn't require any end-user involvement - they continue to use WMP as usual. Great, thank you very much for the tip. Argh!

The "jump forward/backward" keys in MPC-HC do the same random jumps. Not the answer you're looking for? When I play MPEG files I can not fast forward with the seek bar. If you still have problems, then I believe it must be the case that either the disc is broken in some way or you have a DirectShow filter that is acting
