Windows Media Center Search Not Working
Reply Brian July 22, 2015 anyone find a working one for Atlanta, GA? There appears to be some other problem. However, WMC doesn't seem to be linking them to the channel number. For now, this is my workaround I suppose. his comment is here

You can install the Shark007 pack with the default settings or the LAV filers should get live TV working. All the other searches have the same message. You will need to have a TV tuner card installed in your computer and... I'm not sure how anything MC might download could affect the indexing?

Found your Thread helpfull. UPDATE: 7/30/2015: If the instructions above do not work for you, see the comments from Marcus and Willow below for a second approach which is reporting success. Not sure why it wasnt there in the first place. On the plus side, it was tested with 8.1 files and guide is said to be working...

Since this is a guide for over the area transmissions, zip codes which are close by should be sufficient. Chandler, Arizona. It seems like I am getting guide data but it's mostly not available for the majority of stations. SO I even rolled back and built WMC ISOs from Windows 10 builds, installed in VM, used my Ceton Networkable tuner and tried it over an over. Let me know if this solution helps you. The user can recover a corrupted Guide data store back to the last known good state by running a Windows Media Center task from Task Scheduler. 1.Close Windows Media Center. 2.Open Don't worry.
