There must be many users in a similar situation. Hopefully someone with more technical know-how than me will figure what and how to fix it. I was wondering what the future is for those of us who have become dependent on WMC for our TV recording and "DVR" type needs? ObjectStoreRecoveryTask never completed running, eventually had to shut it down.

- I was able to get things to work in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI by using 53203.
- So far, we have resolved a large number of data quality issues, addressed the series recording issues (if not, let us know!), and are working on the cable card issues currently.
From discussions on this thread and recommendations from ewtaylo1 (huge thanks!) I was able to put together a workaround which works for my system and from feedback I've received in twitter Rip DVDs to digital files on Windows 10. This information allowed me to reconfigure my WMC for the new Rovi EPG source using a nearby ZIP code. After re-booting, I still get the "Windows Media Center Receiver Service stopped working and was closed" error. You truly saved me a day of grief! Removing/Reinstalling the WMC feature as described above - didn't work initially.
