Windows Media Center For Windows 7 Not Working

I don't know of a way to re-install it other than to re-install Windows Vista (same as for the core Media Center features themselves). pls let me knw.. I restored it after this happened though, and it did not fix the issue. But, on Friday (thanks to a tip from Pete DiSario), Microsoft has acknowledged further issues with the switchover.

I installed some Sony video tools (Vegas, etc) and I think since then I have been having the "Windows Media Center Receiver Service has stopped working" error. If it is corrupt (as mine is) it does not reinstall the software and fix the problems. I use OTA antenna reception and have confirmed that the channel is still broadcasting. Sign in 41 Loading... then when i ran win media center...the problem persists!! It only turns it off and then back on again.
