  6. On Vista, the MSSE installer will automatically disable Defender upon installation..
  7. Alternatively go into the path; "C:\Windows\winsxs" and search the snapins from the subfolders there for files named *.msc ;; there's dozens of them there including perfmon.msc and services.msc taskschd.msc secpol.msc etc..
