No change is permanent, and you can revert to the default settings at any time by going back into the Start8 options and unchecking the desired box. Can't drag and drop apps, can't close an App once opened, corners not working. Can't you just do the same? Is that expected? navigate here

Charms bar/hot corners periodically will just not work.....even with a reboot........so glad this helped. C.f. I've cleaned up my OneDrive folder, removed shared files, cleaned up my trusted devices list and I've disabled everyhing that could share data or settings across devices.

Cargando... Did you at least watch the video I posted? I always used hot corners and found them the best part of win 8. If it were free, then I wouldn't complain, but I paid for this software and I expect it to work.

Before finding out about this Click in the corner feature, which is sort of like pressing Alt-Tab and releasing Alt- without waiting for the Task list to show (or analogously in I totally agree with morganfj. Something odd happened though while doing it.
The good news for me is that now that I understand this sequence better I think I may be able to manage future such traversals more "fluidly" (but not much more Seems upper left Hot Corner only works when Metro apps are running. Generally, when I put mouse on Start button, it turns black and then I can click it to open Start Menu. Task manager and restarting Explorer does work..

Nevertheless, it's annoying.The only way to restore proper functionality is to restart explorer.exe (or to reboot).I hope somebody has a clue.Just to be clear: this is happening on a fresh install I've seen that comportment several times and never found out why, but it was always curable with a reboot.
