And type ATTRIB to check the attributes of those files. All the entries look just like they are supposed to, so sounds like there was a problem with an entriy not included in the above registry fix. Pin it If for some reason any of these shortcuts somehow get deleted (woops!), don’t worry, there’s a way to restore them. please can you interpret it and tell me how to solve this library ms problem for good.

But I still did not recover my original library folders. C:\Users\Pastor Jp\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Libraries>DIR/A Volume in drive C has no label. Maybe the step restored all the settings.

Your suggestion did the trick. Right clicking and choosing "restore default libraries" had no effect--not even an error message.
