Thank you for the post though, helped me with another plaguing issue unrelated but this is the answer! As a result my credentials have persisted across logins. I have a disability and I need to do things over and over to get it, plus I don't live on my computer and need to get this fixed. In others words, this Credentials Manager feature isn't working properly on my system - otherwise I wouldn't have faced such an issue. Now, with IE11, that worry is gone and I can use a strong password on that site without a major hassle. Windows Security Remember My Credentials which i think should do as its told, but doesnt.
