Tom C June 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm Sorry for lateness in reply Bruce and I appreciate your help. It lets me get into BIOS, so I disabled the power saving mode and still doesn't work. I thought that is was dust inside the computer...no such deal! Maybe you firmly reconnected the video cable.

If it doesn't sleep when there's no devices plugged in, then the next thing to check is drivers that may be keeping it awake. Check the motherboard for any issues like popped capaitors, clogged fans and heatsinks. All Rights Reserved. We are working to restore service.

It seems that some of the mice keep sending signals to the computer even when it's not being used and therefore prevent the computer from sleeping.
