I just like the simple way all my photos are grouped by month and am loathe to install extra software just to get this view that I like. SFC appends its results to a log file named CBS.log, which is located in the \Windows\Logs\CBS folder. These Arrange by options are not available in standard folder views and they can be quite interesting, especially for highly visual content like pictures. The time now is 21:07.

If you attempt to open the library, you'll be told that it has no included folders to display. In each case, you can add additional folders to the mix and, just as important, you can also remove folders from the library view. Thanks. I have my documents on a storage server (windows 2008).
I must have accidentally unchecked this feature when I was getting rid of the search function on the start menu. That's exactly what I do. The standard Arrange by view in each library is folder, which causes the library to use standard folder views. this contact form Any further ideas? my c:\Users dir is actually a symlink to d:\Users I have just removed the c:\Users locations and added the d:\Users locations... I initially used to remove all folders and then include them again, to get them in the order I wanted.
In the Pictures app, the folders are all mixed up! (2009, then 2012, then 2005 etc...) I'm set for "view by... Thank you for your help but I have figured it out!
