To put this another way, under Vista you're still not running as the administrator you've come to expect, even if you're using "Run As Administrator." Note that the parameter after the user name-if specified-is the password. CD stands for Change Directory, so you're asking the prompt to change to the C Drive directory. I wasn't able to uncheck the box due to the administrator privileges on my administrator user account. The only true root admin account that is using the admin token at all times is the hidden admin account on Vista, Win 7 and Win 8. The software/drivers are causing an issue with Outlook every time I reply to an email. Lost Administrator Rights Windows 7 Instead, I get 'access denied' messages.
