Our network has a hardware firewall with the appropriate port forwarded.Behind the firewall is our domain controller providing DNS ( 10.50.50.1 )When connected over the VPN from home I can access I could not find gpedit.msc on my computer. - Interesting fact # 2: Built-in VPN configuration (tested with IPsec IKEv2) somehow sets system up to avoid DNS leaks if your DNS on internet adapter is out of local segment.

- Windows 10, on the other hand, simply chooses whichever DNS request responds quickest, which presents a major security risk.

I use another VPN service and I have to manually change the DNS on the TAP interface after using AIR otherwise lookups fail.
