Windows Explorer Search Not Working Win7
What about everyone else, we just can't search? Click Next and then check the box that says “Files Don’t Appear in Search Results” once the troubleshooter has finished detecting problems. Adding the SYSTEM privilege to the folders+files via the Properties->Security tab fixed the issue for me. Could it be that this will render the Windows 8 OS as useful as Windows 2000? navigate here
I had it checked, and besides I have the setting that even non-indexed places should be searched. Finally got fixed with the main post. My metro apps, start button, action center, search button and charms bar aren't working on my laptop.
