I know there are 6 of them, maybe I know the last one is the best one. Just replied to the linked thread mentioning that, but, oh well. KatyB I tried Method 4 and the associated default for my photos and some other files was not Windows Photo Viewer--but TWINUI. METHOD 2: Add "Open With Windows Photo Viewer" Option for Image Files You can also add a new option "Open with Windows Photo Viewer" in image files context menu.

Most things I didn't like on Photo App were already mentioned (specially dark theme). Not every image or audio format has proper metadata features, so apps just assume they can't rely on it. When I click on a png file the photo viewer comes up and there is a mometary "blip" as if something was trying to come up but then I get the Make scrollwheel actions automatically zoom if the mouse is near the center 75% of the window, and navigate between photos if it's in the outside 25%.

I am creating icons with multiple dimensions for windows, and it views perfectly in the default photos app, since the Photo app of Windows10 does not support the multiple view of Rotate picture: Right click, Rotate CW / Rotate CCW or Open picture viewer and click the appropreate arrow button. when I right click on a .jpg picture then go to open with>choose another app> and I select Windows Photo Viewer it actually opens the image.
Adding all these required Registry keys manually will take a lot of time, that's why we are providing a ready-made Registry script to add the keys automatically in Registry. Basically, if you want someone to use a new app, it needs a very good first impression.
