What it did was to create the actual shortcuts for "Movie Maker" and "Photo Gallery" at the following location: "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs". Now I see it is listed under "Windows Live" so when I was looking in Program Files, no wonder I didn't see it.
