Where do I find it and what do I change it to? At least until they change it again . . . My guide no longer shows the programs for any of the digital channels (I have time warner "analog" cable, but get some basic digital channels). Media Center No Tuner Available To Satisfy The Current Request

Just need to wait for two weeks and see. Your method worked. I had success with this workaround on three different PC's with three different video cards. My machine is 64 bit, could that be part of my problem?

As a note you should know that the tutorial for Windows 8 Media center will not solve any possible hardware issues you might have with your PC, laptop or tablet. And a successfully populated guide is the final step in validating that the new guide is now functioning correctly. Video decoder is used by another program in Windows 8: You will have to close all the other programs using your video decoder.

This conversion appears to have been the cause of having no television guide information available in Windows Media Center after July 20th 2015 for several zip codes (at least). Recently I found that no programs were scheduled for recording on my Media PC. I tried scanning for more channels -- and 20 were found which all looked to be digital (ending in DT).
